Eggshells in the Garden

As the official day of summer approaches, it is time to think about using leftover eggshells for your garden.

Aside from being delicious, eggs provide us with a great source of nutrients such as protein, iron, and vitamins A, D, E and B12. What many people may not know is that eggs are ALSO beneficial for your garden! Eggshells provide the foundational nutrient used in garden soil known as calcium, which is the main source used to nourish plants.
