French Toast Kabobs

Ingredients
1 long baguette
3 egg
1/4 cup milk (plus a splash of cream)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp granulated sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
butter for the pan
Optional: berries or any fruit to skewer

Directions

  1. Cube the bread and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
  3. Put half the cubes of bread into the eggy mixture to soak, while your frying pan with butter heats to medium.
  4. Add the cubes to the frying pan and let griddle for 2-3 minutes each side, turn over when golden brown.
  5. Take them out of the pan to a waiting plate, and repeat with the remaining “Nuggets”.
  6. When you’re finished pan frying the french toast nuggets, get ready to build your kabobs.
  7. Skewer, dunk and enjoy!
