Classroom Agriculture Program

Egg Farmers of Alberta is proud to be a member and supporter of the Classroom Agriculture Program!

CAP began in 1985 and since that time, more than 550,000 students have participated in the program, which is presented to grade four students across Alberta at no charge by a network of industry volunteers.  CAP is about the food we eat and where it comes from.  CAP explains the value and importance of agriculture in Alberta.  CAP highlights the vast opportunities in agriculture and the people, producers and industries that drive this trade.

The CAP initiative is endorsed by both Alberta’s Minister of Education and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.
