My name is Murray Minchin, and I am EFA’s Field Services Coordinator.
After growing up in a farming community, working 18 years in the hog industry and another 5 years in the barn equipment business, I was drawn to EFA by the opportunity to travel Alberta and work directly with farmers. I have been with EFA since March 2010.
I was born in Three Hills, Alberta, and I have a cat named Zoey. My main interests outside of work include golfing and working in my yard during the summer.
My favorite memory during my time at EFA is seeing Alberta’s egg farmers adapt to ongoing changes in the industry, while knowing that I’m helping to contribute to their continued success.
I feel EFA is successful because of the great leadership we have, and the fact that the whole team works well together to tackle every challenge we’re faced with. As I look ahead to the future for EFA, I see a successful future for the entire industry because we are always working to prepare egg farmers for what is to come.
