Science in a Crate
A Science Alberta Foundation "Science In A Crate"
entitled "Meals, Microbugs and Mysteries" is available for
free loan. Targeted to grades 5-7 teachers and students, it deals with
food safety and microbiology. A fun egg project is included!

Farm Animal Welfare
Farm Animal Welfare in Alberta Alberta Farm Animal Care has 2 video
and teacher's guide sets (with student information /activities) called "Farm
Animal Welfare in Alberta." One is aimed at grades 3 & 4;
the other at grades 7-12. These curriculum-integrated resources provide
sound science-based information on the topic.
