Alberta Egg Industry Response to Calgary CO-OP Egg Sourcing Motion

Representatives from Egg Farmers of Alberta attended the Calgary CO-OP AGM on March 13, 2013, when a non-binding motion was passed (59% of votes for) that encouraged the Calgary CO-OP Board of Directors to investigate the feasibility of phasing-out the sourcing of eggs from conventional cages over a 5-year period.More
