1/2 cup hummus
4 whole-grain bread slices, toasted
1 ripe avocado, pitted, peeled, and sliced
1/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt and pepper
4 egg hard-boiled, peeled and sliced

Directions

  1. Spread hummus evenly onto each slice of bread; top with avocado slices. Season with chili powder, salt and pepper. Top with egg slices.

Notes

  • Use your favourite flavoured hummus – try spicy, roasted red pepper or roasted garlic.
