Creamy Chocolate Drop Cookies

16 ounces (480 grams)  cream cheese
1 cup (250 mL) unsalted butter
2 large eggs
3 cups (750 mL) granulated sugar
4 1/2 cups (1.125 mL) all purpose flour
2 tsp (10 mL) vanilla
3 tsp (15 mL) baking powder
1 cup (250 mL) dark chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) white chocolate chips
1 cup (250 mL) milk chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). In a medium bowl, whisk flour and baking powder together. In a double boiler, melt white and dark chocolate chips together. In a large metal bowl, beat softened cream cheese, butter and sugar together until well combined. Using a spatula, mix in melted chocolate chips. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon, gradually stir in flour mixture until well combined. Fold in milk chocolate chips. Roll cookies into 2.5 cm (1 inch) balls and flatten with the bottom of a jar or glass cup. Place on a greased cookie sheet 2.5 cm (1 inch) apart. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.
