5 Entertaining Egg Recipes for Kids

With school back in full swing, you may need help coming up with ideas to keep your kids busy after school or during the weekend with some unique activities (and we mean ones that don’t involve chores!). Why not have your kids join you in the kitchen to help in making these five egg-citing recipes. These recipes are kid-friendly, worth sharing photos of, and can be eaten right after!

First up is Egg Sailboats, because here at least you can pretend you are sailing fictitiously across the world of eggs. You could even serve these as an appetizer when hosting family over, during birthdays, or when having a sleep over. A wonderful, simple snack filled with protein from the yolk, egg white and cheese!

A second recipe that allows for creativity and imagination is Emoji Eggs. Emoji’s have been a buzz over the internet for quite a while, so much so that they even had a movie made about them. The ingredients you use to make the emoji’s can be grocery items you have leftover in your house and best of all, afterwards your kids can eat them up!

Egg Salad Creatures is another one worthy to give a try. Egg salad is a great lunch meal for your kids to bring to school, so why not make them look a little more fun when packing in their lunchbox.

Next up, does your family have any fish that you have as a pet? If you own fish, this could be a neat recipe to make as these are called Funny Egg Fish. They look similar to fish, but you don’t need to worry about any fishy smells here!

Lastly, one other recipe to note is Egg Flowers. The timing of making these would be perfect over dare we say, the winter months, when you’re needing that reminder that Spring and warmer weather will eventually return.
