Tuna Treats (Pet Treats)

Ingredients

• 1/2 can (100 g or 3 oz) tuna, in oil
• 125 mL (1/2 cup) whole wheat flour
• 125 mL (1/2 cup) powdered milk
• 15 mL (1 tbsp) canola oil
• 50 mL (1/4 cup) water
• 1 egg, beaten
• catnip

Directions

In a large bowl, mash the tuna into smaller pieces, then add flour and milk. Mix well. Pour in water and oil and mix thoroughly. In a separate dish, beat egg until a foamy texture is formed and add to mixture. (Dough mixture will be sticky!!) Using your fingers, shape dough into small balls. Place balls onto an oiled cookie sheet. Flatten balls with hand. Sprinkle with catnip.

Bake in preheated 175° C (350° F) oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Place treats on cookie rack to cool.
