Salmon Snacks (Pet Treats)

Ingredients

  • 1 can (213 g or 7½ oz) salmon, drained
  • 250 mL (1 cup) whole grain bread crumbs
  • 15 mL (1 tbsp) canola oil
  • 1 egg
  • 2 mL (1/2 tsp) yeast (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 175° C (350° F). In a medium-sized bowl, mash the salmon with a fork into tiny pieces. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Let sit for 15 minutes. Drop mixture by 1 mL (¼ tsp) onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 minutes. Cool to room temperature and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
