Individual Custards

Ingredients
3 eggs1 1/2 cups (375 mL) milk
1/2 tsp (2 mL) vanilla
1/4 cup (50 mL) sugar
pinch salt (optional)
dash nutmeg
Directions
In a 4 cup (1 L) glass bowl, beat eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and salt until sugar is dissolved. Pour into 4, 6 oz (200 mL) custard cups. Sprinkle each with nutmeg. Microwave on MEDIUM (50%) 8 to 12 minutes, rotating the custard cups once or twice. Remove custards as they are done. Continue cooking remaining custards. Allow custards to cool completely or until set, then chill.Makes: 4 servings
