Festive Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

21/4 cups (550 mL) all purpose flour
1 cup (250 mL) old fashioned oats 
1 cup (250 mL) unsalted butter 
1 cup (250 mL) brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tbsp (30 mL) honey 
1/2 tsp (2 mL) baking soda 
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cinnamon 
1 tsp (5 mL) ground nutmeg 
1 tsp (5 mL) ground cloves 
1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla 
2 cups (500 mL) raisins 

Directions

Preheat oven to 180° C (350° F). In a medium bowl, whisk flour, oats, baking soda, and spices together. In a large metal bowl, beat softened butter, brown sugar, and honey together. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Using a wooden spoon, gradually stir in flour mixture until well combined. Fold in raisins. Using an ice cream scoop, place cookies  1 1/2 inches (4 cm) apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
