Bacon Egg Salad Sandwiches

Ingredients

3 eggs, hard cooked, chopped
3 tbsp (50 mL) salad dressing
1/4 tsp (1 mL) onion powder
6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
8 slices bread, toasted

Directions

Mash eggs with fork in small bowl. Add salad dressing and onion powder. Stir. Add bacon. Stir until well combined.

Divide and spread filling evenly on 4 bread slices. Top with remaining 4 bread slices.

Variations

Spread 1/2 tsp (2 mL) sun-dried tomato pesto on each bread slice before adding filling.
Makes: 4 servings.

Preparation: 10 minutes

Cooking: 20 minutes
