Microwave Egg Express
Make eggs as fast as it takes to make toast.

Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 2 mL butter or margarine (½ teaspoon)
- 1 egg
Equipment kit:
- microwave oven
- custard cup or coffee cup
- measuring spoons
- fork
- plastic wrap
- oven mitts
Directions:
With adult supervision...- In a small custard cup or coffee cup, microwave butter or margarine on High (100% power) for 15 seconds or until melted.
- Rotate cup to butter all sides.
- Break egg into cup. Pierce egg with fork.
- Cover with plastic wrap, with one corner pulled up to let air out.
- Microwave on Medium-High (70% power) for 35 to 45 seconds. The egg will still look uncooked, so let it stand for 1 to 2 minutes, still covered before you carefully – using the oven mitts - take it out of the microwave.
