Cheesy Scrambled Egg

Ingredients for 1 serving:
- 2 mL butter or margarine (½ teaspoon)
- 1 egg
- 15 mL milk (1 tablespoon)
- 60 mL grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese (¼ cup)
Equipment kit:
- microwave oven
- custard cup or coffee cup
- measuring spoons
- cheese grater
- plastic wrap
- fork
- oven mitts
Directions:
With adult supervision...- In a small custard cup or coffee cup, microwave butter or margarine on High (100% power) for 15 seconds or until melted.
- Rotate cup to butter all sides.
- Break egg into cup and add milk. Beat well using fork.
- Add cheese. Mix well.
- Cover with plastic wrap, with one corner pulled back to let air out.
- Microwave on High (100% power) for 50 – 60 seconds, stirring once during cooking.
- Let stand, covered, for 2 minutes. Carefully remove from microwave with oven mitts.
