Classroom Presentations

EFA is proud to present “Eggs in the Classroom”, which is an entertaining and educational opportunity for students to learn all about eggs, from egg farming to egg nutrition.  EFA presentations can also include an optional egg cooking demonstration.  Presentations can be given to individual classes or as a larger assembly-type presentation to multiple classes, and are geared towards the specific age range of each class.

If you are an educator and would like to have a representative from Egg Farmers of Alberta visit your classroom to give our “Eggs in the Classroom” presentation, please complete and submit the form below:

Classroom Presentation Request Form

PLEASE NOTE: The EFA Classroom Presentation program is being revamped, with a focus on junior high and high-school foods programs.  We plan to launch the new program for the start of the 2017/18 school year, but would like to pilot the presentation to a few classes this May and June.  If you are interested in becoming a pilot presentation, please submit a request below!

As an alternative, EFA suggests the Classroom Agriculture Program, which is booking presentations currently for Grade 4 students during the 2016/17 school year. Visit the website to learn more and request a CAP classroom presentation: http://www.classroomagriculture.com/.

Fields marked with a * are required.

In order for us to maximize our visit to each school, please check to see if any other teachers at your school would be interested in receiving a presentation from Egg Farmers of Alberta, prior to submitting your request. Once you have submitted your request, an EFA representative will contact you at least 1 week before your selected date, to confirm date and time. Submitted requests are not guaranteed and some restrictions may apply.
