March 27, 2017 (Calgary, AB) – Egg Farmers of Alberta (EFA) congratulates the National Farm Animal Care Council (NFACC) on the release of the revised Code of Practice for the Care and Handling of Layers. The Code is the foundation for the Canadian egg industry’s animal welfare standards, and informs enhancements to the national Animal Care Program.
